Welcome to the Yardley Society of Artists Web Site where you can view our work and learn more about the Society.

The aim of the Society is to help and encourage artists of all abilities, beginner or professional, to improve and enjoy their art and meet with like minded people.

The Yardley Society of Artists meets every Friday evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Digbeth in the Field United Reform Church Moat Lane Yardley Birmingham England B26 - 1TW. A map to finding us can be found by clicking here.

The next meeting of The Yardley Society of Artists is on Friday  11 May 2012 at 7.30pm. If you would like to Draw or Paint, water colours or oils. Beginner or Accomplished Artist, you will be made very welcome.  Please feel free to pop in and have a cup of tea and a chat, see what you think.

Three of our Friday evenings are practical nights where the members bring their current drawings or paintings to work on, until the mid evening break when we stop for tea. During the tea break members discuss their work and swap hints and tips.

Once a month usually the first Friday in the month we have The Gallery night. Members bring their finished paintings or work in progress. The paintings are put on an easel and the Members offer constructive comments and tips.

On Saturday 26 May 2012 Stuart Hudson and Ian Morton will be at Hobbycraft Solihull performing a watercolour and oil painting demonstration from 10am till 5pm.
